Even if they're here for two weeks, a week, or a summer, the experience helps them grow physically, socially, and emotionally.
Richmond Hill Day Camp or ‘RICHILDCA’ for short, was established in 1957. Today, Kettleby Valley continues the tradition of providing Richmond Hill Day Camp programs on the very site that served as the home of RICHILDACA for so many years. Our Richmond Hill Day Camp program offers bus transportation from your home each day. Our day camp fees also include a hot lunch daily that’s very popular with all of our campers. Kettleby Valley’s active outdoor program includes traditional summer camp activities such as Climbing Wall, Ropes Course, Arts and Crafts, Archery, Drama, Canoeing, Field Games and Swimming in our heated pools. 8 sessions of day camp are available starting in July. Kettleby Valley is located in the heart of York Region, at Aurora Road and Jane Street. Our day camp is a beautiful setting with a modest waterfront tucked away in our 60 acre site. The rolling landscape is covered with white pines and cedars. Richmond Hill families love the fact that they can send their children to a day camp that feelings like they’ve gone three hours north. We work hard to make sure that our program is safe, challenging, active and fun for our campers. Our program promotes a healthy sense of independence within a child. The result is a camper with confidence and self-esteem. We believe that choosing the right camp for your children is an important process. Please take the time to explore our website. Make a list of questions you might have and feel free to contact us anytime. There are great reasons why hundreds of families from Richmond Hill choose our day camp each year. It’s time to discover them!
