It's hard to believe how far we’ve come as a Camp since our beginning in 1998. Yet with all the growth and development, our philosophy has remained simple:

and convenience that parents require.

An Environment for Growth

Through the use of a few core values, our staff members work hard to ensure that each camper is provided with the environment necessary for healthy growth.

We insist that each camper displays respect both to themselves and to others.

Staff encourage campers to show determination in the things they choose to do.

At camp, the children learn to take responsibility and show accountability for their choices and actions.

Finally, at Camp we teach children the importance of being independent while having the strength to admit when they need help.

Convenience and Flexibility for Parents

With many families, both parents work. In other cases, families consist of single parents and the challenges associated with balancing work life with opportunities for their children can be difficult. We will go to every effort to provide a camp experience that assists families with balancing a busy schedule by offering a variety of programs combined with a variety of services that are all close to home.

A member of the Ontario Camps Association, Kettleby Valley is an Ontario summer camp and outdoor education centre located in King Township. We provide both day camps and residential overnight camps to families all over York Region. Kettleby Valley combines a great summer camp program with an ideal location that’s close to Toronto.
