A children’s summer camp in Ontario located in the heart of York Region

Kettleby Valley Camp is located just west of Aurora, Ontario. As a new visitor to our website, we want to provide you with an introduction to our camp and the experiences we provide. We believe that choosing to send your child to camp is a decision that should be made carefully. To help parents, we provide several opportunities throughout the year to see our camp in person and meet some of our senior staff.

ACTIVITIES AT CAMP

Kettleby Valley Camp is place where a camper's skills and abilities are developed and highlighted. It is also a place where campers learn to be more self-reliant and supportive of their fellow campers and the Staff that lead them. This is all accomplished through the use of fun and exciting camp activities like, Red Cross swim instruction, canoeing, climbing wall, ropes course, arts and crafts, drama, nature, archery, cross bow and bouldering.

 

OUR STAFF

Our Camp staff, many of whom have grown up at Kettleby Valley, work together with the campers to create a friendly and fun filled environment. Each staff member takes part in our weeklong staff training prior to the beginning of Camp. This gives us the time to set the expectations for the summer, while providing camp staff with the tools necessary to meet them.

PROGRAM OPTIONS

Our Camp offers something for everyone. Our DAY CAMP program offers convenient transportation and extended camp hours at no additional cost. Our RESIDENTIAL CAMP provides weeklong sessions for families that are close to home. Through our CANOE TRIPPING program, campers take part a five day adventure in Algonquin Park.

A member of the Ontario Camps Association, Kettleby Valley is an Ontario summer camp and outdoor education centre located in King Township. We provide both day camps and residential overnight camps to families all over York Region. Kettleby Valley combines a great summer camp program with an ideal location that’s close to Toronto.
