1. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Each year our staff take part in an in-depth training session prior to the Summer. Opportunities for other certifications are also available. Staff develop the skills necessary to become an outstanding contributor, not only to Kettleby Valley, but to any other endeavour they see fit to pursue.
2. RESPONSIBILITY
There is no greater level of responsibility than the care and development of children. Your experience with us can provide further opportunities in the future.
3. LEADERSHIP SKILLS
With Kettleby Valley, successful candidates have their chance to shine in a leadership role. We balance guidance with hands-on experience.
4. TEACHING EXPERIENCE
One of the main roles of our staff is to teach. Whether it’s instructing swimming or conveying the importance of cooperating, you are looked upon as a mentor to the Campers.
5. TEAMWORK
Every role at Kettleby Valley requires you to work in conjunction with others. In fact, an individual cannot be successful by simply working alone. The ability to both help others and accept the help of others is an asset that can be applied to all aspects of life.
6. BEAUTIFUL SETTING
Kettleby Valley is truly a beautiful site. Our nearly 60 acres of forests, rolling landscape, streams and pond makes the Camp an ideal place to spend the Summer.
