RESIDENTIAL CAMP IN ONTARIOIf you’re looking for a sleepover experience, we offer the experience of a Residential Camp near Toronto. Our weeklong ‘Resi camp’ sessions begin Sunday and end Friday. We believe that Camp doesn’t have to be three hours away for a camper to gain the skills, confidence and independence that parent’s and their children are looking for. Our beautiful 60 acre camp setting is an ideal place to spend the summer. CANOE TRIPPING PROGRAMOur Canoe Tripping Camp program for teens offers a real challenge to our senior campers. Campers take part in a 5-day canoe trip through Algonquin Park – an adventure they’ll remember for many years to come. About Our Director Peter has been the Director of Kettleby Valley since it was established in 1998. He has had over 25 years of experience in the Camping field. Over the years with various camps, Peter has filled the role of Counsellor, Canoe Tripper, Nature Interpreter, Climbing Instructor. Peter possesses a wealth of Camp knowledge and his passion for Camp life and in particular Kettleby Valley, is contagious to both campers and staff. Peter’s daughter Adelaide has been a Camper at Kettleby Valley for 9 years. As a father, he understands the concerns of today’s parents and conveys this understanding to our staff. For children looking for an adventure in overnight camps, Kettleby Valley gives you three options. If your child wants a residential experience, but isn't quite ready for a full week commitment, you can register for our single night overnight camp program offered twice each summer. Our traditional week long residential camp session is a 6 day and 5 night program. Finally, our canoe tripping program offers campers the challenge of a canoe trip in Algonquin Park.
Children who participate in our overnight camps are treated a great camp menu that balances nutrition and health with ‘kid friendliness’. A variety in our menu ensures that campers always have something to look forward to from the kitchen.
